Job Summary

Our West Michigan Client has a contract opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent college graduate who has done some internships. The role is onsite in Grand Rapids and has potential to convert to full-time.

Work hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities
  • Deploy, update, inventory, and maintain computers and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune.
  • Add, change, update, and delete software and their associated deployment packages within Intune.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, resolving Tier 1 issues and escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Facilitate end-user onboarding and training to ensure smooth adoption of IT systems and tools.
  • Support computers and mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Purchase, install, modify, and make minor repairs to hardware and software.
  • Provide technical assistance and training for general computer use.
  • Administer and maintain peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • Support videoconferencing and presentation systems.
  • Support various software packages used by employees.
  • Maintain computer hardware replacement schedule and order and deploy equipment as needed.
  • Organization and maintained inventory of devices and technology accessories in tech storage room.
  • Research, test, propose and demo (as appropriate) computers and related technologies.
  • Work with outside vendors to coordinate purchasing, support, installation and repair of technology-related products and services.
  • Support physical desktop phones and the general administration of phone accounts.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss planning for infrastructure projects.
  • Provide custom training and training documentation as needed or requested.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation.
  • Participating in project and support activities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Windows 11 administration and support
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Remote desktop technologies
  • Advanced Microsoft Outlook administration and support
  • Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams video conferencing.
  • Apple iPhone and iPad support
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • User and device administration within Microsoft Entra
  • Cellular technology/cellular networks, including voice, data, and mobile wireless devices.
  • Network and Internet communications.
  • VoIP telephone systems
  • Microsoft Intune experience is a plus.
  • Conditional Access Policies experience is a plus.
  • PowerShell experience is a plus.
