Radiant Power Corp. is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team.

This position is located in Sarasota, FL and is full-time, Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm. This is not a work from home position. $22-$24/hour

Radiant Power Corp. delivers the highest levels of quality and reliability from our full range of aerospace products. We provide a wide variety of emergency power supplies, power distribution and control sub-systems, flight deck sensors and instruments, a full suite of passenger comfort/cabin products, AeroELT Emergency Locator Transmitters and our Dukane-Seacom Underwater Locator Beacons.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Requirements

• User support for hardware, software, connectivity issues (Internet, network, email, etc.)
• User support for IP based devices (ex. VOIP phones, printers, etc.)
• User training as needed
• Assist in deployment of hardware, software, and systems resources
• Assist in maintaining computerized production floor equipment
• Assist in maintaining IT Department resources
• Assist in meeting audit requirements (log analysis, assuring backup integrity, documentation, etc.)
• Respond to out-of-band tasks both during regular hours and on-call
• Documenting issues and remedial actions as needed
• Additional duties as required.

• High school diploma and either technical training or technical education specializing in IT related field. Must display functional knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities in a Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012 R2 Active Directory domain environment.
• General knowledge of IT, PC maintenance, Network Operations, Printers, and various IP based technology.
• Experience with current and recent Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suites, and "best practices" security knowledge required.
• Installation, repair, and wiring of computer equipment.
• Accurately update help desk software to track incidents and resolutions.
• Coordinate support between third-party support vendors and devices.
• Self-motivated. Must be able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Work must be performed at a high quality level.
• Sustained dependable attendance.
• Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
• Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
• Must have excellent problem solving skills, with a strong sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

• Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
