Founded in 2019, Swift supports Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence Community customers across the country and around the globe. We are seeking a Junior IT Help Desk Technician in Reston, VA. Job Details: As the Junior IT Help Desk Technician, you will provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues. This entry-level role is essential for maintaining smooth IT operations and ensuring user satisfaction. * Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues * Install, configure, and update software and operating systems * Assist with password resets, account access, and basic security protocols * Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies * Document issues and resolutions in the help desk system * Escalate complex problems to higher-level support or specialized teams Requirements: * Strong communication and customer service skills * Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software * Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments * Ability to follow procedures and document work clearly * Time management and multitasking abilities * Candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Desired Experience: * Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience * High school diploma or equivalent * Associate's degree in IT Field or IT certifications like CompTIA A+ are a plus but not required * Prior experience in tech support or customer service is helpful but not required #LI-OM1 #Onsite The Swift Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00 Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
