Part-Time Maintenance Technician Senior Apartment Community
Mid Tule Village Apartments is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the property's 50 apartment units, handling day-to-day repairs, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents ("make ready" tasks).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, appliances, carpentry, and painting).
- Complete make-ready duties including cleaning, patching, painting, and ensuring units are move-in ready.
- Maintain the exterior and common areas of the property.
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all building systems.
- Communicate with property management regarding needed repairs or supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or a similar role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation and basic maintenance tools.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience).
- 20 hours per week, flexible schedule.
