Volt is immediately hiring NDT Technician in Decatur, IL.

As a NDT Technician you will:

Primary Responsibilities

• The NDT Technician provides inspections using a variety of nondestructive evaluation methods.
• The technician performs receiving, in-process, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Individual is responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases.
• The non-destructive evaluations methods include magnetic particle (wet/dry), liquid penetrant, visual weld inspection, radiography, ultrasonic and other non-destructive inspection methods are occasionally required.
• On occasion, the technician may be expected to use various types of portable hardness testing equipment.
• The technician would be based in the production factory but could include some travel to support off-site testing as required to support manufacturing or clients in the field.

This is a Full Time, direct hire opportunity.

Duration: Full Time

Location: Decatur, IL, 62526

Pay Rate: $22- $25 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
