Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator / Painter

Location: Richmond, VA

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: Up to $23.00/hour (depending on experience)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Overhead Crane Operator / Painter. This role works with our outside crew at the shop and includes a mix of equipment operation and painting duties.

Approximately 80% of the role involves operating overhead cranes and material handling, while 20% of the role involves painting, which requires the use of a respirator and appropriate PPE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating overhead cranes to move steel and materials
• Jockeying trailers around the yard
• Operating Pettibones to move steel
• Unloading trailers
• Performing painting tasks using a respirator and proper safety equipment
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Maintaining strong attendance and reliability

Requirements

• Experience operating cranes and handling materials (training available for the right candidate)
• Ability to wear a respirator and follow safety protocols
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
