As a Plant Operator, youll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our production facility, including the filling of cylinders, to ensure the highest quality standards are met./ppstrongJob Duties:/strong/pulliOperate and maintain equipment within our production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts, to ensure a steady supply of industrial gases./liliPerform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal condition, identifying and addressing any issues promptly./liliSafely handle and transport cylinders, including filling and quality checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines./liliOperate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely./liliMaintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities./liliAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment./liliParticipate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills./li/ulpstrongAre you a match?/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus./liliPrevious experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred./liliStrong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues./liliExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills./liliCommitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols./liliAbility to operate a forklift safely and efficiently./liliFlexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed./li/ulpstrongBenefits:/strong/ppWe care about and support all Airgas associates.
