Job Description

Our industry-leading client has an exciting opening for a Staff Accountant to join their growing team in Schenectady, NY.

Responsibilities of a Staff Accountant :

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation and review of monthly cash flow projections
• Review of commercial tenant leases and escalation billing
• Communicate with property managers on operating forecasts and operating results
• Planning, participating in and reviewing the annual operating budgets
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications of a Staff Accountant :

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a strong knowledge of GAAP required
• Prior CPA firm experience preferred
• Experience in leasing and/or real estate industry is preferred
• Prior experience with SAP is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $60,000 - $65,000 plus excellent benefits.
