Job Details:

\n

• Work 8-hour shifts primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
\n• Guaranteed 40 hours per week for 13-week contract
\n• 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1-2 weekend calls during contract period
\n• 30-minute response time required for call situations - must be ready and in OR within 30 minutes
\n• Must have own reliable vehicle (cannot rely on Uber/Lyft due to on-call responsibilities)
\n• Holiday rotation required
\n• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed
\n• Minimum 5+ years OR experience with at least 1 travel assignment required
\n• Large facility experience with comparable ORs of 20+ required
\n• Trauma II experience required
\n• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License
\n• Epic charting experience preferred
\n• Required specialties: Ortho, Neuro (cranials), Spine
\n• Bonus experience in General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, GI
\n• Work in 21 ORs across all specialties handling 40-60 cases per day (average 45)
\n• Must be flexible candidate with excellent work ethic willing to perform downtime tasks
\n• Any color scrubs permitted
\n• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
\n• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
\n• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers required to wear masks at all times per facility policy

This major healthcare facility operates 21 operating rooms handling a high volume of surgical cases across all specialties. The facility maintains Trauma II designation and processes an average of 45 cases daily, ranging from 40-60 procedures. The organization provides comprehensive surgical services including orthopedics, neurosurgery, spine procedures, general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, ENT, and gastroenterology. The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains high standards for surgical care while serving as a regional referral center.
