HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Psychiatric RN for a facility in Amsterdam, NY . This position requires strong psychiatric nursing skills, demonstrated travel experience, and certifications in BLS and CPI. Previous facility staff are not eligible to apply as travelers.Responsibilities:
Provide direct psychiatric care to patients in accordance with facility protocols
Implement crisis prevention and intervention strategies as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain patient care plans
Document care accurately in the facility’s EMR
Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Active NYS RN license
Minimum 5 years psychiatric nursing experience
Minimum 2 years travel nursing experience, preferably with renewals
BLS and CPI certifications required
Facility will not consider previous staff members as travelers
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced psychiatric environment
