Job Description

Associate Attorney – Nursing Home Injury Litigation (Training Program | Entry-Level or Experienced)

Location: Fully Remote (Ohio or Surrounding States)

Firm: Eadie Law Firm

Firm Overview

Eadie Law is a Cleveland-headquartered law firm dedicated to representing families in nursing home abuse and neglect lawsuits throughout Ohio . We are passionate about holding long-term care facilities accountable and providing compassionate, client-focused representation.

We are a growing, mission-driven team that values accountability, initiative, and a positive, problem-solving culture. We provide the systems for success, reward performance, and encourage professional growth. We expect personal responsibility and a willingness to learn and adapt.

This position is fully remote — you can work from anywhere in Ohio or a surrounding state , as long as you are licensed to practice law in Ohio .

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team.

This position is ideal for newly licensed attorneys looking to develop their courtroom and litigation skills or for experienced attorneys seeking meaningful, mission-driven work in a supportive environment.

Eadie Law has created a structured training and mentorship program to help new attorneys build confidence in all phases of litigation — from discovery through trial — while providing opportunities for experienced attorneys to continue growing in a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior attorneys to craft and execute litigation plans that drive cases toward settlement or trial.
  • Assist in preparing and taking depositions of nursing home staff, management, and treating providers.
  • Work with medical and professional experts to prepare reports and trial materials.
  • Prepare clients to confidently tell their stories in deposition and at trial.
  • Support the firm’s mission of providing compassionate, client-centered advocacy.

Whether you’re just starting your career or bringing prior litigation experience, you’ll be part of a team that values mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Minimum Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in Ohio (newly licensed or experienced attorneys encouraged to apply).
  • Additional licenses in PA, KY, or WV are a plus.
  • Strong interest in litigation, advocacy, and trial work.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve.
  • Tech-comfortable — our firm is fully paperless and cloud-based.

Preferred Qualities

  • Coachability – open to feedback and growth.
  • Ownership – accountable for outcomes, not excuses.
  • Follow-Through – reliable in meeting commitments.
  • Intelligence – quick learner, able to absorb complex information.
  • Attention to Detail – nothing important slips through the cracks.
  • Work Ethic – committed to getting results.
  • High Standards – expects excellence from self and team.
  • Growth Mindset – motivated to develop personally and professionally.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $90,000+ (DOE)
  • (Experienced attorneys could earn $100K+ with bonuses.)
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with firm match.
  • Firm-paid memberships to legal and trial lawyer organizations.
  • CLE opportunities and attendance at trial/deposition seminars.

Why Join Us?

If you’re smart, detail-oriented, and eager to learn from experienced litigators, this is your opportunity to build or advance your career in plaintiff litigation from the ground up. You’ll be part of a team that values initiative, mentorship, and meaningful advocacy for families seeking justice.

Who Should Not Apply

This is not the right fit if you:

  • Blame others or circumstances instead of taking responsibility.
  • Believe you already have it all figured out.
  • Lack empathy for clients, staff, or colleagues.
  • Expect to be rewarded for effort rather than outcomes.

We understand the complexities of navigating new opportunities in the legal space. You can trust that all employment inquiries are kept strictly confidential.
