Cedar Park Med is seeking RN - Critical Care (ADULT-PEDS / UH Cardiac Cath Lab)

Duties:

• The temporary RN for this position will provide pre and post Critical Care for HVC patients, including physical assessment, IV placement, med. administration, and documentation of all aspects of patient care.
• Will communicate with all members of the HVC team and explain procedures and care to patients and families.
• Will provide post care according to orders placed by Physician including review of post discharge instructions.
• RN will also provide intra-procedure care in the Heart and Vascular Center Labs including, circulating role, moderate sedation, scrub role, and monitoring of procedures as trained in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular suite.
• Will participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Nursing or equivalent,
• NYS RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years acute care post licensure RN experience.
• Cath lab, interventional Radiology experience or Electrophysiology lab experience required.
• Certification in CPR/BLS required. ACLS Certification required
